Graduate Researcher
Asha Odo earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre-Med) and Master of Public Health from Florida A&M University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Global Health Equity at Meharry Medical College School of Global Health. As a Healthcare Consultant and public health professional, she bridges community engagement, data visualization, and health equity through applied research and program development. Asha collaborates with Dr. Im on community mapping initiatives addressing social and environmental determinants of health, including the Metro Nashville Community Mapping and Nashville Food Project initiatives. Her interests focus on infectious disease prevention, health disparities, and using GIS-based tools to inform equitable public health solutions.
